In his light tableau Nabo Gass overlays transparent portraits of people linked in a special way by fate or coincidence.
“Maria, Maria” shows Callas who, with her voice, conquered the world. On examination
with corresponding light action a second layer becomes visible: the deaf-mute Maria officially became famous through a mug shot. Two lives that just about touch due to this diversity’. (Nabo Gass/Wiesbaden)
