The Winners 2025 

The 9th edition of the LIT Lighting Design Awards celebrates the winners and their projects – designs and concepts that set new trends and offer a forward-looking view of the lighting industry.

The winners of the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2025 showcase the outstanding achievements of international lighting designers, artists, and manufacturers. For the ninth edition, over 1,000 entries were submitted from 62 countries. An esteemed jury of 34 – including architects, interior designers, scholars, and media professionals – reviewed the submissions, recognising exceptional designs and concepts in the field of lighting. The selected projects highlight extraordinary creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship, celebrating the talent and vision shaping the future of light design and opening new possibilities. The winners demonstrate vividly that light remains one of the most powerful tools for shaping how we see, feel, and connect with the world.

The pendant lamp lets light pass through a fracture, combining organic form with calmness and resilience, and follows a sustainable, modular design made from recycled wood.

Suzan Tillotson

Suzan Tillotson is celebrated for her visionary approach to lighting design, her committed mentorship of emerging talent, and her exemplary professional excellence.

Suzan Tillotson, founder of Tillotson Design Associates, will receive the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. Her career is defined by the fusion of technical precision and artistic sensitivity. From childhood, curiosity, creative skills, and a fascination with spaces shaped her passion for light—a passion that continues to inspire her work today.
