» Happy Birthday – 10 Years !
The Essen Light Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. What began as a small, experimental event in the northern part of the city center has since evolved into a spectacular event – not only in North Rhine-Westphalia, but far beyond.
For this special anniversary edition, visitors can look forward to 17 impressive light installations, video mappings, and shows spread throughout the entire city center.
A particular highlight: Some of the most popular artworks from recent years will make a comeback – shining once again in a new light.
